SWISS ALPS (AGES 6-14)

Located one and a half hours from Geneva, at 1300 metres altitude, and set in 2 hectares of grounds surrounded by forest and fields, this school offers an exceptional environment for your young child to enjoy a summer course.

Conceived entirely with young children in mind, our school provides a warm, family-like atmosphere with 1 member of staff for every 2.5 children. The main building is a welcoming chalet with well appointed bedrooms, classrooms, a library, games rooms, a gymnastics room, a music room and a dining room.

The programme combines French* lessons in the mornings with fun sporting and cultural activities in the afternoons and excursions at weekends.

Some of the highlights of this very special camp include a camping trip in the nearby forest staying in cabins and grilling marshmallows on the camp fire, visits to a chocolate factory, a farm, a dairy, and the famous town of Gruyere where your child will discover how the famous cheese is made and more.

SWISS ALPS (AGES 10-16)

Also located one and a half hours from Geneva, at 1300 metres altitude, a few minutes from our other school, this school combines language studies with more adventurous activities.

Emphasis is on fresh air and outdoor activities.

Every morning is spent studying French* in a small group while afternoons, evenings, and weekends are devoted to sports, recreational activities, and cultural excursions.

Taking full advantage of the beautiful alpine surroundings, your child will experience an extensive range of exciting sports and outdoor activities from water sports (windsurfing, kayaking, river rafting) to the more adventurous activities, such as hiking, rock-climbing, Via Ferrata and, weather permitting, glacier skiing. Your child will also enjoy some of the more traditional sports and activities, including: tennis, swimming, football, basketball, volleyball, softball, cycling, archery, golf, ice-skating, music, arts and crafts, and drama.

Moreover, based on his/her age and experience, your child will have the added opportunity to join a 3-day camping trip where he/she will be spending two nights in a tent, swimming in natural lakes, participating in team-building exercises, learning how to prepare his/her own meals, or simply relaxing by the campfire.

The ideal alternative for students who would like to practise their French while enjoying adventure sports and the great outdoors. Both a challenging and memorable experience!
