CASTILE (AGES 9-18)
An exceptional camp in one of the historic cities of Castile, the birthplace of the Spanish language.
Set on a superb campus situated within the old city walls, this camp embodies boththe magnificence of the Spanish cultural heritage and the vibrancy of the Spanish way of life.
The spacious campus comprises well appointed students’ residences and classrooms, a dining hall, a video room, a computer room as well as extensive sports facilities including a soccer field, a basketball court, a handball court, a volleyball court, an in-line skating ring and more.
Combining high quality Spanish lessons with a variety of sports, cultural workshops, recreational activities and excursions all shared with Spanish students on their own summer courses, this camp offers countless opportunities to practise and develop Spanish language skills. Homestay with a Spanish family is also available.
The perfect option for students who want to develop their knowledge of Spanish, discover Spanish culture and have the opportunity to meet and interact with Spanish people their own age!
MADRID (AGES 7-18)
Located just outside of Madrid, on a spacious campus surrounded by trees and green spaces, this camp is the ideal choice for younger children on their first summer camp or for older students who have enjoyed our camp in Castile and would like to experience something different.
High quality Spanish classes take place in the mornings, while in the afternoons and evenings your child will enjoy a wide choice of sports, recreational activities and cultural workshops.
During the half-day and full-day excursions your child will also have the chance to visit local museums and places of interest as well as some extraordinary sites such as El Escorial, one of the most outstanding works of Spanish and European Renaissance architecture; Alcalá de Henares, the birthplace of Miguel de Cervantes, author of Don Qijote de la Mancha; Aranjuez, declared a World Heritage Cultural site by UNESCO in 2001; the walled city of Avila; the medieval city of Segovia or the city of Toledo.
FULL-DAY PROGRAMME WITH:
- Intensive language lessons in the mornings;
- Choice of sporting and leisure activities in the afternoons and evenings;
- Cultural outings and excursions each week.
Minimum stay: 2 weeks – Choice of residential or home stay accommodation.
